Tiffany Zitzwitz

Tiffany H. Zitzewitz is a principal with MedTrend, Inc., a firm that specializes in value-added, data driven strategies for doctors, hospitals, health care systems, blood centers, health associations, and health plan organizations.

Tiffany has over 20 years of executive-level health care experience accountable for large operations, business development, marketing and strategic planning for a variety of regional and national health care organizations.  Tiffany has significant governance experience as a board member, governance consultant, and executive staff for boards and committees. She has built several businesses and divisions from the ground up and has negotiated significant partnerships and alliances with all types of organizations.

Before MedTrend, Tiffany was Vice President, Strategic Partnerships for Prime Therapeutics, a national pharmacy benefit management company serving over 20 million people. In this role, she was accountable for developing a national pharmacy joint venture, in partnership with Walgreens, comprising 8 national pharmacies. Prior to this, she was Vice President Strategy and Business Development for North Memorial Health, an $800+M company with specialty/primary care clinics, two hospitals, a medical transportation division and 900+ doctors. There she led strategy, marketing, communications/PR and new business development, which included the development of all new sites, services and several partnerships and joint ventures and a new brand for the organization.

Tiffany is a seasoned healthcare executive and has held several executive leadership positions in local health care organizations including Group Services for America’s Blood Centers (GSABC), a company she was instrumental in creating; Memorial Blood Centers; St. Francis Regional Medical Center; Allina Health System; and Abbott Northwestern Hospital. She is also immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America - MN/WI. She has served on the boards of directors of Maple Grove Hospital and Institute for Athletic Medicine, as well as three ambulatory surgery center boards and a health plan in the local market.

Tiffany graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in both Economics and English from St. Olaf College and with a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Tiffany has facilitated the development of strategic plans for health systems, hospitals, physician groups, blood centers and foundations. She has consulted with governance bodies on best practices and has also been a topical speaker at national conferences.
